The minimum is not the bill, the table is not held forever, and a guest list is not a reservation.
The number a promoter quotes you is a spending commitment, not the price of the night. A Vegas club table is a bar tab, a reservation, and a contract at once, and the fees that surprise first-timers are printed in the venue’s own terms. New here? Start with the Nightlife hub.
A table minimum is normally a beverage credit: your group agrees to spend a set amount on drinks and bottles at the table. TAO Group calls table pricing “a beverage credit to be used throughout the night,” and Wynn’s nightlife FAQ describes bottle service as “a guaranteed seating area with a minimum beverage purchase.” Spend less than the minimum and you are charged the minimum anyway.
The minimum scales with the group, so ask what the quoted number covers before you split it; for small groups, some operators sell a per-person shared-table product instead.
Headline figures rarely include the extras. TAO’s ticket terms say gratuity, venue fees, sales tax, and live entertainment tax are not included in the package price; Zouk says the same of tax, service charges, and gratuities. Wynn currently lists an 8.375% tax, 15% venue fee, and 15% gratuity — figures checked October 2026, and subject to change.
A service or venue fee is not automatically the same thing as the tip. Ask which line pays the server; several clubs leave gratuity to your discretion with 16–20% suggested. Confirm the minimum is a credit toward your order rather than a fee, so you are not quoted one number and billed another. Our tipping guide covers reading the bill.
Wynn states a reservation is guaranteed to be held for the first two hours of the event. TAO’s nightclubs say reservations are not guaranteed until you arrive, suggesting 11 p.m. Pre-paid tables can be released after midnight, and table packages generally carry no refunds.
Cancellation windows are venue-specific: Wynn refunds a deposit minus a small processing fee with at least 96 hours’ notice, while Zouk’s advance deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled at least 96 hours before 10 a.m. Pacific on the booking date.
Guest lists are invite-only offers of reduced or complimentary admission inside a time window, and entry still depends on capacity. JEWEL’s FAQ puts it plainly: “Entry is not guaranteed – it is subject to capacity.” Zouk’s event pages say a signup “does not guarantee entry,” and admission may be complimentary, reduced, full price, or denied. Guest-list lines can run for hours while ticket holders walk through, so when certainty matters, buy the ticket.
TAO Group warns on its own FAQ that it never asks guests for cash elsewhere in the city, and that anyone on the Strip collecting money in advance is not legitimate. The FTC’s impersonation guidance is the same habit: verify a business through the site or number you found yourself, and never pay by gift card, wire, crypto, or a payment app because someone demands it. Use the venue’s official site or ticketing partner; the cardholder and a matching photo ID usually must be present at check-in.
Did you know? At Wynn’s nightlife venues, a reserved table is guaranteed to be held for only the first two hours of the event — arrive late and the space can go back into circulation.
